Paula Romeu Garcia is a New York-based artist, content creator and writer known for her vivid, poetic approach to exploring human connection and identity. Her work combines a cinematic eye with influences from poetry and cinema, creating narratives that are as layered as they are visually striking. Romeu Garcia’s exhibition at All Street Gallery is her debut solo show in New York City, and she is currently working on a memoir. Across mediums, her art is a celebration of resilience, culture, and the shared threads that connect us all.

Paula entered the spotlight at age ten when she was cast to play Alba Cornadó in the prime-time series Ventdelplà, for five seasons. After the series ended, she performed in various short films for ESCAC and established herself as a prominent dubbing actor, working for major studios in Barcelona and dubbing main voices such as Shailene Woodley in "The Descendants” with George Clooney, Natasha Calis in "The Possession" and Kaitlyn Dever in “Bad Teacher”.

In 2021, she had a big screen comeback with a small role in the award-winning film "Las Leyes de la Frontera” (released in English as “The Laws of the Border”) by Daniel Monzón.

In addition to her acting career, Paula was featured as a celebrity model for the global camera brand Instax, apparel brands C&A and Pretty Green, and boutique designers such as Oliver Spencer.

As a content creator, Paula has shot for well-known brands including Televisa (Mexico), Pescanova, and True Instinct (Spain), as well as the reputable Swedish Magazine Plaza Kivinna. Paula also directed and edited “Poverty of Words”, a documentary shot in Kenya for the NGO Nanofasa.

EDUCATION

Paula trained as an actor and dancer at Escola Coco Comín (2004-2010) and finished a 2-year intensive course at Escuela de Doblaje de Barcelona. She's been a member of AISGE since 2004.

After graduating High School, she got an honors scholarship to study Media Communication at Universitat Pompeu Fabra in Barcelona.

In 2013, she moved to London to continue her studies in Film & TV at the University of the Arts of London. In the UK, shadowed and worked closely with various British directors and DOPs, namely Peter Webber, Daniel Bronks, Tom Beard and Sara Dunlop as she developed her skills as a writer and director.
